I wish that one day I'll be an au pair!!

Totally out of my comfort zone but I wanna do it! Right now I have an application in aupair-world.net and am getting tonnes of messages. I found a perfect family but think they already have an au pair so that kinda sucked but otherwise I'm still waiting for the perfect family to come by! I wanna go to Spain preferably for just like 2 months. I could be earning some money while enjoying myself and taking care of kids, which will definitely benefit me with my future career. I'm so looking forward to this!
Also, when you leave to go somewhere far from home into a new environment and live with as little technology as possible and just be with yourself and the kids; you learn a lot about yourself! So I think it would be really cool to just be and become more aware of me. I'm so exited and am looking forward to this. Who knows might not find a perfect family or might get my ticket to Spain already in 3 weeks! Fingers crossed!

I Wish I Could Wear Long Skirts Outdoors Without Looking 'Weird' to Others

Why does every piece of clothing have to be so revealing now a days. I wear tonnes of mini dresses and all the rest of that but why does EVERYTHING have to be so revealing. Even shorts now a days go into your ass showing your butt cheeks to the world. I'll be 'old fashioned' about it and say whats with the world that I'll actually feel awkward walking outside in appropriate clothes! I love skirts. I was raised in a third world country and wore skirts that went past my knees majority of the time. Now that I've moved up and about Europe and live here, I actually will feel awkward wearing a skirt out of the house unless it's a mini skirt. I bought a skirt that went past my knees a while back and my flat mates actually told me it looks like a goody goody church girl skirt. I'd like to see their faces if I wore skirts till the ground. Oh what has this world come to!

I really wish I owned most of my skirts that I used to a few years back, and I wish I had the guts to wear them outside. I think skirts are classy and pretty. Plus they are super comfy! You can get such good and different looks wearing skirts so definitely not a boring look in my opinion. When I travel to go on holidays, I wear skirts quite a bit when i go outside because it's not weird in less developed countries, plus its respectful to some religions so thats a plus as well.

Either way, I really like the style. It took me ages to find some decent photos but I love all of these looks! Tell me if you think any of outfits are bad. I think they look really classy and neat. Wearing heels with skirts that go under you knees look really good in my opinion and flats that don't show from under the skirt with longer ones. I don't know what you guys think but I love the style and wish I lived somewhere where everyone dressed like this. But yeah, no worries! I do own a few skirts still and will hold on to them, I'm not giving up! :)

I wish I had a side swept fringe/bangs

I have always liked side swept bangs/fringes. They are so pretty and I just wish I knew if one would suit me or not. Here comes the reason why I have never really got one: my family/relatives have something against fringes and they are always going on about how ugly they are on people. I agree they don't suit everyone but I would like to try. I wouldn't get a fringe that comes till my eyebrows definitely though, I would like a side swept fringe rather. I once told the hairdresser to cut me one which I can hide into my hair easily and I loved the look of it when I put it out even though it was so annoying on my eyes all the time!

If I were to do it now, I'd feel horrible cutting so much of my hair off because i've been growing it for ages. I wish I would have ignored my family and relatives and shut my ears to their comments and gone for it a few years ago. It would have grown out in no time. Agh. I think I will tell the hairdresser next time to cut me a hidden fringe again so I can somehow pull it out if I want. Lots of people have told me that a fringe would really suit me without me even asking for an opinion so I'll just believe that. It's just so hard to ignore closest peoples opinions who are there all the time.
I got a solution though! I know I am so stupid but whatever! I went on ebay and got a fake clip-on fringe (real hair and cheap (Y)). Yes, I did. I'm currently waiting for it to arrive and can't wait to play around with it. I watched reviews on it and a lot of people seem to like them. Basically I won't need to commit to cutting my hair before I'm sure, and its real human hair so I'm guessing it would blend in easier. So yes, maybe I'll feel more confident getting a real fringe after I'm sure if it fits me or not.

I wish love was like in the movies based on Nicholas Sparks

Here goes a post on love. Just love. This is really not like me but Nicholas Sparks books have just made me compare love in the stories with reality. In the movies based on Nicholas Sparks, love is appreciated and not taken for granted. The way the lovers value each other is just beautiful to watch. Maybe because in these movies people have to actually fight for love, they appreciate it so much. I wish I saw people truly loving each other endlessly like in these movies. I wish the looks we give to each other would be full of love and respect. I haven't watched all the movies shown below but they are all on my 'must see' list.

I love how in The Notebook Noah's and Allies love was playful and they had loads of fun together everyday. I wish that when I'm 40 I'll still be having fun and running around playfully with my future husband someday.

One thing you really don't see now a days is the love that lasts forever. Today everyone is just 'growing apart' and getting divorces. Whats with that anyway? Love is a choice and marriage is a choice, a choice to stay with the other person forever no matter what. SPOILER: In 'A Walk To Remember' Landon marries Jamie even though she has leukemia and they are pretty much high school students. He knows she will die soon but still goes for it because thats all that matters to him. You just don't see that too often anymore.

Another thing I love to see is people who truly appreciate each others presence. Isn't it adorable seeing couples run into each others arms sometimes. Doesn't really happen much but when it does, its such a Daaaw moment, especially if the couple is a bit of an older couple and not teenagers.
One thing I think people should definitely do more, including me is fight and then get over it. Fights and arguments come and go, why not let it go and not make a huge deal out of little things. In fact why not make the effort to not start fights out of little things in the first place. Like the photo belows says 'but despite their differences, they had one important thing in common. They were crazy about each other.'

When I think about it, I feel like I myself don't value love as much as I should. And to be honest, I should be thankful that I'm in the same country as my boyfriend in the first place. I think I will try change my behavior and learn to be a more caring and appreciating girlfriend. Perhaps love will be more like the movies then eh? Change always starts from oneself. :)

I wish I had brown eyes...

We are never satisfied are we? Those who have curly hair want straight hair and those who have straight hair want curly hair, those who have blue eyes want brown eyes and those who have brown eyes want blue eyes, and so on. I have heard statements like these loads of times and I'm sure you have too. And yeah, unfortunately now you will hear it again, I want chocolate brown eyes. They are naturally just prettier. But then again brown eyes are so common since its the dominant gene that passes on brown eyes while the blue eyes gene is recessive. Yes, I know some biology. =D I have blue eyes and have wanted brown eyes for my whole life basically.
When I think about it though, if I could get brown eyes permanently right now if I wanted to, I don't think I'd do it. In loads of places around the world people look at blue eyes and admire them because they are so rare. So yeah, I should be thankful. Even though I ended up in the conclusion that I would rather keep my blue eyes, I will never stop admiring brown eyes. There is just something about brown eyes. Today I wore dark brown contacts and I liked seeing myself with them even though they were a bit unnatural. It's a nice change but I have to admit I liked seeing my own blue eyes again once I took them off.
